Customer Served
Meta Data Deletion Instructions
Customer Served helps connected brands manage customer support messages and comments from Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. If you interacted with a connected brand through Facebook Messenger, Instagram direct messages, WhatsApp messages, Facebook comments, or Instagram comments, we may store support-related data needed to respond to your request.
Data We May Store
- Your Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp scoped user ID.
- Your public username, display name, and profile picture URL when provided by Meta.
- Messages, comments, attachments, and support conversation metadata.
- Operational records such as webhook delivery IDs, timestamps, and support action logs.
How To Request Deletion
To request deletion of your Meta-related support data, email us at customerservedai@gmail.com with the subject line Meta Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- The Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp phone number you contacted.
- Your Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp username or number.
- The approximate date of your message or comment.
- The email address or order number you provided, if any.
What Happens Next
We will review your request, verify the relevant support records, and delete or anonymize Meta-related support data that we are not required to retain for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. We may ask for additional information if we cannot identify the records from your initial request.
If you are a Customer Served workspace owner or administrator, you may also disconnect Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp from your workspace. When a social channel is disconnected, we revoke or stop using the associated access tokens and stop importing new Meta events for that channel.
